The Palm Springs Bureau of Tourism is taking note of technology’s role with a new iPad app. It was designed for leisure travelers but will work just as well for meeting and event planners.
Palm Springs HD, free on iTunes and online at www.visitpalmsprings.com, lets you build itineraries, see photos and discover the best places to stay, play, dine and shop in the California city.
The app also provides descriptions of lodging properties, attractions, restaurants and retail stores. It features a trip planner, information on the city’s downtown, an interactive map, an events calendar and hot deals, which showcase special offers, travel deals, packages and discounts.
