Château Élan, a resort 40 miles outside Atlanta, is broadening the definition of team-building with its DreamBuilding program.

Teams can choose from three categories of philanthropy, and then customize their activity. The categories: Feeling Green, IMPACT Initiatives and TOMS-Shoes for Tomorrow. Each activity is designed to promote creativity, communication, cooperation, time management and sales strategies. Here’s a closer look:

  • Feeling Green. Activities include wildlife care, trail building and maintenance, or weed warriors.
  • IMPACT Initiatives. Examples include adopting a family in need, volunteering at a local food bank, or a design, build and donate effort.
  • TOMS-Shoes for Tomorrow. Each group member decorates a white pair of TOMS. For every pair purchased or sold, TOMS will give a child in need a pair of shoes.

Château Élan, in Braselton, has 275 rooms and suites, a 25,000-sq. ft. conference center, two grand ballrooms, 19 conference rooms, two boardrooms, a tiered auditorium — and a winery. For other team-building options at the resort, go HERE.
