The Meeting Pool is an events-industry decision engine and online resource for event professionals who are evaluating, discussing, purchasing and endorsing technology solutions. The site features direct vendor communication and content from contributors across the event and technology worlds, as well as tips, best practices, opinion editorials, and comparisons and ratings from event planners, marketers, bloggers, meeting managers, PCOs, associations, IT and technical personnel.

The decision engine feature, creators say, is designed to present “truly agnostic, head-to-head, feature-driven comparisons of technology solutions that meeting professionals invest in and leverage to produce successful events.”

The interactive portal is the result of a need that Dahlia El Gazzar, Meeting Pool CEO and founder, saw while speaking at various conferences. Decision-makers were struggling to find a reliable source for tech information, she said in a statement, adding that The Meeting Pool intends to be a central point where research occurs and dialogue begins.

The Meeting Pool even has a Plan Your Meetings connection. Longtime PYM contributor Keith Johnston is its co-founder and publisher.
