Be smart. Be savvy. Be spectacular. That’s what the Professional Convention Management Association is promising with this month’s launch of its Business Events Series online training subscription.
The interactive series offers topical on-demand training and development tools for business events professionals. PCMA plans to release three series modules annually — each covering issues relevant to the meetings and event industry.
A Digital Events module was released Sept. 18. A module on Increased Revenues From Events comes out in October, followed by a Concepts in Meeting Design module in December.
The three 2015 modules are $195 for PCMA members and $395 for nonmembers. If both the 2015 and 2016 modules are purchased before Dec. 31, the cost is $395 members, $595 nonmembers. Single modules are $295 for members and $495 for nonmembers.
Professionals who buy a subscription receive 10 series licenses that can be shared with team members, who can earn CEUs. In addition, subscribers are prompted to return to the modules for content and trend updates.
