Why is there a preference given for people actively making site selection decisions?
At PYM LIVE, a large section of the show is dedicated to 1-on-1 meetings between meeting planners and sales reps from local and national hotels, convention and visitors bureaus and other industry service providers. Of course we’re offering high-caliber education that others may benefit from, but because the speed meetings are a large part of the format, we want to be upfront about the business aspects of this event.
How many exhibitors will I meet during the show?
You will meet between 10 and 12 during the speed-meeting portion of the event. To learn more about making the most of this alternative trade-show format, watch this video. If you’d like more time with each person or if you’d like to meet with more of our exhibitors, we encourage you to join our Pathable community so you can make 1-on-1 appointments. Can I get CMP-IS, CAP-OM or CSEP credit hours for the education?
Yes. PYM LIVE Events are ISES Approved, which means you can apply points to your application for attending. Our education is aligned to the CMP International Standards and sessions are submitted to the CIC for review. Where applicable, we mention which strategic domain and how many clock hours each session is worth. Certificates of attendance may be downloaded from the event app onsite; a copy can be emailed to you post-event, by request.
Is my registration/ticket transferrable?
If you are unable to attend the event and would like to gift your ticket to another meeting planner, contact Alysia Brogdon.
