Delta Air Lines is adding new nonstop seasonal service to Aspen/Snowmass, Colo. with a daily flights to and from Atlanta and a Saturday-only flight to and from Minneapolis-St. Paul. The flights begin Dec. 21 and end March 29-30, 2014.
With these flights, Delta becomes the only airline to offer daily nonstop service to Aspen/Snowmass from the Southeast. Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson (ATL) and Minneapolis-St. Paul (MSP) international airports are two of the country’s largest hubs, with multiple connecting flights.
The new service will be operated by Delta Connection carrier, SkyWest Airlines, using a two-class, 65-seat CRJ-700, with nine first-class seats and eight economy seats.
The Atlanta-to-Aspen flight will depart daily at 10:10 a.m., arriving at 11:59 a.m. (Mountain time). The Aspen return flight leaves daily at 12:45 p.m. and arrives at 5:53 p.m. (Eastern time). The Minneapolis-to Aspen flight will leave at 11:40 a.m. Saturdays (Central time), arriving at 1:13 p.m. The return flight leaves at 2 p.m. Saturdays, arriving in the Twin Cities at 5:53 p.m.
