Our second-annual PYM LIVE DC Event takes place in Washington, D.C., July 24 from 2-7 p.m. Last year, we were in Old Town Alexandria. This year, we’re in the heart of the city at Smith & Wollensky, a fitting venue for a “Sites & Bites”-themed event.
We’re pleased as punch to have ISES board member Dave Edwards, CSEP, and The Webster Group’s Lindsay Schattenstein, CMP, CSEP, sharing their tips on finding unusual venues with their “In Your Backyard: The Best Venues You’ve Never Heard Of” session. Additional PYM-powered education includes a session on “How to Plan Menus Around Food Allergies” and an interactive “Contract Negotiations: Beyond the Basics” session spotlighting what concessions meeting planners are asking for (and getting) and what addendum they’re using. The last section of the day is dedicated to a steak and wine tasting (with a vegan option) exploring Smith & Wollensky’s new Dry Age Experience group package for events. And, of course, there will be the series of hands-on tech and meeting design experiments meeting planners have come to expect from PYM LIVE Events.
