The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) has created four European committees to examine and improve the areas of aviation, hotels, meetings and technology.
The committees, forming now, comprise GBTA members wanting to improve levels of competence through the creation of toolkits, RFPs, white papers, templates, webinars and educational content. Leading the committees:
- Meetings: Chaired by Izania Downie, director of industry strategy at Lanyon. Vice chair is Lotten Welinder of Concept Owner Meetings from Ikea.
- Hotels: Chaired by Ulrika Rosen, Tetra Pak travel manager. Vice chair is Pascal Jungfer from Areka Consulting.
- Technology: Chaired by Louise Kilgannon, an AstraZeneca Travel Service global business partner. Vice chair is Jean Michel Kadaner, a consultant from Key Corporate Solutions.
- Aviation: Chaired by Jorg Martin, managing director of CTC Corporate Travel Consulting and chair of German partner association. Vice chair is Mia Andersson, AstraZeneca Travel Service’s global program manager.
GBTA says it soon will launch a Risk Committee for Europe, as well. Anyone interested in joining any of the European committees can contact GBTA at email@example.com.
