There’s something disarming about adults playing dress-up; watching them stay in character creates a sense of fun that’s contagious.
Loews Hotels‘ directors of sales from all properties livened up a networking dinner with meeting planners in New Orleans by dressing up as famous historical New Orlean’s legends.
In between courses, guests were treated to speeches by impresonators of such famous figures as Blaze Star, Andrew Jackson, the King and Queen of Carnival, and Voodoo Queen Marie Laveau, appearing in chronological order.
"It’s something we really look forward to," said Mother Cabrini (aka the DOS from one of Loews’ Universal Orlando properties whose rapturous bio was one of the evening’s funniest). "I’m just glad they didn’t make me shimmy this year."
As one of the attendees stated, "If they’re this creative just trying to meet you, you can imagine what they’ll do with your meeting."
