The California event tech company Guidebook today launched a new event-app building platform intended to drastically reduce building time and to give event professionals complete control over their mobile apps.
Guidebook Builder, as the platform is pragmatically called, has a drag-and-drop interface that lets planners with no programming experience build and manage mobile event guides and manage the content as they see fit before, during and after an event.
Guidebook event apps work on iOs and Android devices. Builder is an effort to simplify the app-building process and make it affordable for events of all sizes, according to a Guidebook news release. Builder is free for 200 or fewer downloads. Three other packages, all with unlimited downloads, are $1,750, $3,500 and $6,500 a year. Pricing details HERE.
Guidebook, based in Palo Alto, was founded in 2011 as a way to make event apps easier and to respond creatively to customers who want to build apps tailored to their own needs.
