The Venetian Room (formerly City Grill) has opened in the historic Hurt Building in downtown Atlanta. The event venue features an entryway with a marble double staircase, crystal chandeliers, full catering kitchen, floor-to-ceiling windows and a ballroom with a 25-ft. tall ceiling. The Hilton Austin opened 18 new meeting rooms and upgraded its Internet bandwidth. The hotel now offers 80,000 total square feet of flexible meeting space. The technical upgrade increases the number of people able to log on to the Internet simultaneously, which speeds up access during periods of high demand and when multiple groups are meeting on-site.
