Welcome to southern hospitality as warm as the emerald coast sun

Have your next meeting or special event in the Heart of Florida’s Emerald Coast – Destin, Ft. Walton Beach and Okaloosa Island. Step out of meetings and onto 24 miles of pristine, white-sand beaches. The sand, made of pure Appalachian quartz, is sugar-white, giving the waters their trademark emerald-green color. Find out for yourself why U.S. News & World Report Travel called ours the “#1 Best Beach in Florida in 2014.”

But Emerald Coasting is so much more than just kicking back on the beach. It’s snorkeling, tubing, kayaking, Jet Skiing and parasailing – all great activities that can be enjoyed individually or as a group. Have a group that loves to fish? You’ll find some of the best fishing Florida and the entire country have to offer in the waters just off the Emerald Coast. Anglers come from near and far to hook sailfish, marlin, wahoo, cobia, bluefish, tarpon, mackerel and more. A wealth of charter fishing boats allows groups of any size to enjoy an exciting day of fishing on the open waters of the Gulf.

Of course, where there is great fishing there are great seafood restaurants, and the Emerald Coast is no exception. Come get your fill of fresh Gulf-to-Table cuisine brought in daily by Florida’s largest fishing fleet. Many of our restaurants serve fish with a QR code so you can tell where and when your entree was caught!

But seafood is just a part of the culinary story. On the Emerald Coast, you can find just about any type of cuisine you might crave in casual and fine dining settings. And when the sun goes down, the nightlife starts up. Harbor and beachfront entertainment, comedy clubs, theaters and cultural events – there is always plenty of entertainment after dark.

The options for activities on the Emerald Coast are as seemingly endless as the white-sand beaches. Go on a dolphin cruise. Catch a marine show. Visit a water park. Soar through the air on a zip line. Or if you want to do a little shopping, you can take your pick from traditional malls, open-air markets and distinctive boutiques. Pick up a one-of-a-kind piece inspired by the natural beauty and coastal charm from the area’s local artists and artisans.

Whether you want to do it all or just lie on the white-sand beach and do nothing at all, the Emerald Coast is the perfect place for your next meeting or event.
