Treat yourself to an exceptional meeting
The staff of the AAA 4-Diamond award winning Grand Hyatt Denver announces the completion of its $28 million renovation with the unveiling of a new lobby as well as the iconic 38th floor Pinnacle Club, Grand Hyatt Conference Center and all of its 516 spacious accommodations.
The bold and dynamic lobby, with a focal point of a wall of stacked lineal fireplaces set in chiseled stone, rises to a 29 foot ceiling. The intriguing decor showcases Fireside | the bar and a wealth of warm touches including wood panels overhead, relaxed comfortable seating and communal tables that prove popular for informal gatherings. All of the premium well spirits have their origin in Colorado, complementing a menu of small-plate appetizers. A retooled reception area provides a more personalized welcome for arriving guests.
The hotel’s guest rooms and suites received rich new textures and warm, modern furnishings that enhance their residential-style framework. The environmentally conscientious design calls to mind this Colorado destination with ceruse oak headboards, tree branch inspired accent lighting and a signature buffalo art piece adorning the wall. The color palette is comprised of Aspen tree golden hues and the cool blues of the High Plains sky.
The renowned 38th floor Pinnacle Club has also received a new décor for private parties, banquets and meetings. Known for its sweeping views, Pinnacle Club is one of the few meeting and event facilities in the United States to be windowed on all four sides displaying over 10,000 miles of cityscape and Colorado Rocky Mountains. The new interior is just as notable, containing two large ballrooms, both of which have their own pre-function space. Guests find cherry wood and polished bronze accents with hand-blown glass chandeliers add to the opulence of vibrantly colored sunsets.
With a total of over 52,600 square feet of versatile space, Grand Hyatt Denver’s redesign also introduced a new Grand Hyatt Conference Center with windows overlooking the business and financial district.
Pub 17 on Welton Street launched the renovation in July, 2012, garnering a Sunset Magazine’s Editor’s Pick. In-room dining is available around the clock. Skycourt, one of downtown Denver’s only outdoor rooftop jogging tracks and tennis courts with work-out stations and shuffleboard, complements the 24-hour fitness center that is free to Grand Hyatt guests.
Grand Hyatt Denver is ideally located one block from the 16th Street Mall pedestrian promenade and a short three blocks to the Colorado Convention Center. It is in the heart of the Mile High City, an easy stroll to some of Denver’s most notable attractions.
