Plan Your Meetings’ 2012 Annual Guide has been nominated for three Azbee Awards of Excellence — two national editorial awards and one regional design award. The Azbees, presented by the American Society of Business Publishers and Editors (ASBPE), are among the most competitive contests for business-to-business, trade, association and professional publications.
Plan Your Meetings, a multimedia educational resource for corporate meeting planners, earned the following nominations:
- Feature article, group effort (national). “So You Say You Want a Revolution,” created by Kristi Casey Sanders, PYM’s creative vice president and chief storyteller, and contributors Keith Johnston and @MeetingBoy.
- How-to article (national). “Hybrid How-To” by Sanders.
- Front cover, computer-generated (regional). “Anatomy of a Meeting Planner,” designed by Jenny Schisler Hinely.
Publications represented at the Azbees cover everything from meeting planning to homeland security, the environment and architecture. National winners will be announced July 26 in Chicago. Regional awards will be announced July 18 in New York.
