Bringing you “Motivation for Innovation,” the 2011 PYM Annual is designed to help you navigate new technologies, find solutions for current challenges and, hopefully, inspire you to create something big, bright, beautiful and business-friendly at your next meeting or event. But, like everything we do here at Plan Your Meetings, this was a group effort. (You’ll find a list of the fabulous people who helped us put this book together on page 81.)
So, enjoy! Let us know what you think. And feel free to share with your friends. The 2012 Annual’s theme will be the “Anatomy of a Planner,” so I’m interested in hearing what you deal with on a daily basis. Send your “Day in the Life of a Planner” stories to me via e-mail or post them on our Facebook group page (search for Plan Your Meetings).
By the way … we’ve gotten some questions on Facebook from planners afraid that having a digital version is a sign that we’re abandoning the print version. Never fear — we know that many of you enjoy being able to refer back to our physical magazines over time, so there are no plans to eliminate it. But now, when you subscribe to PYM, you do have an option to receive a print or digital version (or both, if you want to cover all the bases). Plus, the digital version allows anyone who wants to read it to do so as soon as it’s printed. Otherwise, they have to wait until we come through town with a PYM LIVE Event or mail the issue, which we do on a monthly basis throughout the year.
